| A similar sword like this one is in the Ft. Ticonderoga Museum. Also in G. Neumann's book; "Swords&Blades" page 216.S. Circa 1740-1750. Grip is made of wood. Hilt is made of brass.The blade we use is a high quality fencing blade. The length of the blade is 34 1/2" long and 3/4" wide at the top and tapers down to a blunt tip. The overall length of the sword is approximately 42"
