Wall Tents

These are the same as our outside pole tents, except you use dimensional lumber available at your
local lumber yard. Tents constructed for the inside pole structure have closed ends. Grommets are installed in both ends of the reinforced ridge for pins on ridge pole uprights. The side walls are tied to a side pole on the outside that used two uprights 4' or 5' long depending on wall height. These need to be guyed out. Optional side wall supports are 4' or 5' 2"x2"'s each guyed out every 2 feet.
Instructions for the type you order are included with tent. Cost is the same for either style. Please specify "Inside Pole" or we will ship Outside Pole Structure.

Options For Wall Tents

12" sod cloth 2-3 or 4 sides add $1.25 a foot for 10 oz. water repellent, add $1.50 a foot for Sunforger or Sunforger flame retardant. Door both ends, add $35.00 Stove pipe insert with cover $55.00 installed.

Awnings For Wall Tents

These are the same as the roof line less the walls. They are reinforced in the center for an add-on ridgepole or longer ridgepole. They have loops every 24" on the two sides to tie out. We do not recommend more than 10' extensions, as wind will catch and tear. We do not sew these on as they should be taken down in high winds.

covering when not in use.

Screens

Although not authentic, we do install screens in wall tents, 1840's, Civil War tents, marquis, and pyramid tents. These measure approximately 22" x 22" (can be made smaller). They have roll-up flap same as stove pipe insert above. This can be tied down, keeping the screen out of sight. We will install as close to your instructions, that does not reduce strengh of tent. A-Frames were used in the Revolutionary War, original rendezvous and Civil War. All A-Frames come with 12" over-lap doors on both ends and 12" sod cloth on all four sides. A-Frames are very easy to put up and take down, requiring less than 20 minutes under normal conditions. These are ideal for the one or two nights when you do not want to set up a lodge. They also make great trade tents, offering good exposure with both doors open and good security when closed up.

Bell A-Frame

Same sizes of A-Frames with a bell in back. The main body is identical to the Standard A-Frame with a 3-section bell in the back and only one door with sod cloth on all sides. This adds additional floor space without requiring longer poles. Use same size poles as Standard A-Frames.

A-Frame Awning

Awning approximately 8' by the same size as the walls. Brass grommets in 4 corners and loops for ties or stakes on 2 sides. These are erected by adding a ridge pole out the front and supporting with one more upright pole. They can form a fly open on both sides or they can be staked down on one or both sides during a rain. Both the awning and the privacy wall fit either style of A-Frame.

Ground Tarps And Trail Tarps

Ground and Trail tarps are made of 10 oz. Sunforger or 10 oz. Water Resistant Cotton Duck. These work well for floors, but do breathe. If left on wet ground, moisture will seep through. Only a rubber or plastic tarp will be waterproof. We do not offer the rubber or plastic.
